Small satellite satellites launched worldwide, trying to reach near star
Starshot discovery, a program $ 100 million interstellar robot missions to launch orbit smaller satellites that have ever been reported, Scientific American. Les six prototypes, called Sprites, with a weight of 4 grams and contains only solar systems, computers, sensors and equal beams at a US sealing surface. Developed by researchers at Cornell University and transported in the space as a secondary payload on a rocket built by the company headquartered in Europe OHB System AG, nanosatellite for electronics and communication performance in orbit. Starshot's breakthrough mission aims to show that sprites could be a day spaceships that fly at 20% and reach Alpha Centauri, our next star system, in just over 20 years.
